With the body in traditional Offset-Design and the pleasantly flat D-neck profile, the 5-string Bass promises top-notch playing characteristics, while Alnico single coil pickup and a traditional passive circuit provide the right tones for almost any style of music. Last but not least, a 5-saddle bridge and Open-Gear tuners complete the features of the JB/5 5-string Bass from J & D.
Based on the proven offset design, the J & D JB/5 five-string convinces you with comfortable playing characteristics, and to take the first steps on the instrument with joy and ease. While the asymmetrically designed alder body lies comfortably and balanced on the body, the flat D-profile of the bolt-on maple neck promises optimal playing characteristics from the highest to the lowest position of the 21-fret fingerboard.
The electrical sound conversion of the JB/5 5-String Bass is done by two J & D single coil pickups with Alnico magnets, which make the bass guitar an all-rounder for almost every musical genre. While the midrange pickup delivers a full sound with deep bass foundation and the perfect dose of transparency, the bridge pickup convinces with a mid-emphasized, assertive sound. In addition to two volume controls that allow step-less mixing of the pickup signals, the Bass provides a treble slider for adjusting the sound.
An indestructible hardware equipment completes the J & D JB/5 5-String Bass Sunburst.
