The Yamaha TRBX605FM Indigo Blue with its beautiful flamed maple top brings a breath of fresh air to the popular TRBX series. In the typical TRBX design, the alder body combines elegant lines with optimum playing comfort, while the bolt-on maple-mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand. Two Yamaha YGD Dual coil pickups and an active 3-band tone control, which can be deactivated if required, also provide tonal variety on the amplifier. Last but not least, the Yamaha TRBX605 has a massive bass bridge and precise die-cast tuners.
Based on the typical TRBX design, the alder body combines elegant lines with an optimized balance that promises a comfortable playing position both on the thigh and on the strap. The classic bolt-on, five-piece maple Mahaogni neck with its slim profile sits comfortably in the hand, so that every note on the rosewood fingerboard almost plays itself. Last but not least, the curly maple top and headstock overlay made of the same material add a chic noble bass accent.
When amplified, the Yamaha TRBX605 proves to be an extremely versatile electric bass that is no stranger to any musical genre. The Yamaha YGD Dual coil pickups, which capture each string with four Alnico pole pieces, impress with an open, balanced sound that skillfully captures playful nuances and also reproduces the low B-string with precise definition. Furthermore, an active 3-band tone control is available to further adjust the sound, whose optimally tuned frequency bands always deliver musical results, even with extreme boosts and cuts. If required, the Equalizer can also be bypassed to use the clear passive sound of the Basses.
Last but not least, the Yamaha TRBX605FM Indigo Blue is equipped with high-quality Hardware whose indestructible functionality guarantees long-lasting playing pleasure. Accordingly, the Yamaha high-mass die-cast bridge is used on the body, whose extremely solid construction supports Sustain and sound development. In addition, four individual string saddles allow optimum adjustment of intonation and string action. Further Yamaha die-cast tuners on the headstock ensure precise and stable tuning.
