The J & D ST-SS BKS Black Sunburst is all about classic eighties shred axes and provides the perfect foundation for lightning-fast riffs. Featuring a classic Double Cutaway design, the electric guitar offers a slim neck for implementing advanced playing techniques and an extremely powerful and adept pickup setup ready for a variety of possible sounds of hard rock and metal. furthermore, reliable hardware equipment in a noble black finish is used.
Following the classic design of the model, the body of the J & D ST-SS BKS Black Sunburst, made of basswood, features curved contours that allow for a perfect playing position. For instance, the body features a wide-fretted Tummy Cut on the back, while the contoured armrest ensures maximum performance of the picking hand. The body is finished off with a tasteful Black Sunburst High gloss finish.
The maple neck of the J & D ST-SS BKS has a slim C-neck profile to provide the fretting hand with the best conditions for cultivated riffing. This skilfully underlines precise playing in the register and secure chords that come out of the hand with ease on the 22-fret composite fingerboard. The modern fingerboard radius of 12 inches also plays an important role in making bending as easy as possible.
With three pickups, the J & D ST-SS BKS Black Sunburst has an accomplished voice that is guaranteed to leave no guitarist's wish unfulfilled. Two powerful humbuckers are used in the neck and bridge positions, which easily serve realms of high gain with a clear Output and no side noise.
