The Remo Silent Stroke Fabrichead 16" is a low noise, single layer fabrichead for 16" bassdrums. The extremely durable head produces a very low noise level and is therefore ideal for practice purposes and/or when the volume of a regular acoustic drum kit is a problem. Also suitable for miking with electronic triggers.
The Silent Stroke heads are perfect for practicing quietly at home. Due to their nature, the mesh heads have an excellent rebound and are absolutely silent. Remo Silent Stroke Mesh Heads can be used just like conventional drum heads with any conventional drum shell.
Silent Stroke Mesh Heads offer another area of application in connection with electronic drum triggers. Due to their construction, Mesh Heads are able to transport the trigger signal cleanly, quickly and precisely. In addition, the use of Silent Strokes eliminates the acoustic sound of the shell that is not used during triggering, ideal for example in Live performances.
Please note that the skin should NOT be played with a felt beater, as this will damage it after a short time.
