It's easy to use for users at all levels and puts audio quality and design above all else. Designed for podcasting and streaming, the Profile allows for custom sound adjustment via three basic controls: gain control to adjust the microphone input level, mix control to tune the balance between the microphone and the audio of the end device, and volume control to adjust the headphone volume when listening in. Rounding out the device's features is a mute button that responds to gentle pressure for silent muting during recording or live streaming.

Don't get me wrong, software has its place... but controlling the sound simply by turning a knob can be very handy, especially when you want to concentrate on other things. The gain knob allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone, effectively setting the input level for your session. The mix control allows you to adjust the balance between your microphone and the audio from the end device, so you can listen in on what's important to you.
