Easy To Clean And Secure:
- The easy-to-clean over-moulded silicone rim allows for soft connection between bamboo and steel, and the silicone strap adds extra security to your lid.
A Word From The Designer:
- We carefully studied how people carry and prepare their sandwiches. Our research showed that often it can be preferable to carry wet ingredients (like tomatoes) separately, only including them at the point of consumption. So the idea of introducing what would be a mini chopping board within our product design, allowing for food prep on-the-go, was really exciting for us. This board could also be a platter for presentation, perfect for picnics. This allows the product more imaginative uses, not just exclusively for sandwiches, but other dry goods, like salads and cheese. We believe our design was unique on the market when first launched, however many versions have appeared since. It takes inspiration from traditional Japanese Bento Boxes, and the material combination of bamboo and steel work well together and ensures the design will age well.
