The Behringer P16-HQ is a powerful 16-channel personal monitoring mixer that enables precise and individual adjustment of monitor mixes. Based on the proven P16-M, the device has been optimized in several areas to offer even higher sound quality and improved usability.
A central component of the P16-HQ is the new high-quality D/A converter with a dynamic range of 114 dB, which ensures low-noise signal conversion even at high levels. This is complemented by a revised output stage that ensures improved volume and performance - especially in combination with low-impedance headphones and in-ear systems. With an extremely low system latency of less than one millisecond, the P16-HQ is also suitable for demanding live applications.
Optimum controlThe intuitive user interface offers a wide range of control options, including 16 backlit channel selection buttons, LED-supported level and panorama/balance controls as well as a 3-band tone control per channel and for the main signal, where the center frequency can be individually adjusted. Solo and mute functions for individual channels and an output limiter to protect your hearing round off the function package.
For maximum flexibility, the device has an additional mono/stereo line output that enables connection to active monitor speakers. Integration into larger setups is simplified by the Ultranet interface, which provides both the audio signal and the power supply via a single CAT5e cable. Multiple units can be connected via P16-D hubs or daisy-chaining. Alternatively, power can be supplied via an external power supply unit, which is included in the scope of delivery. Mounting on a microphone stand is possible using the optional P16-MB bracket. Furthermore, a MIDI input enables remote control in real time via external MIDI devices.
