The Boss AC-22LX Acoustic Guitar Amp is a compact acoustic amplifier that delivers amazingly accurate output of a vocal and an electro-acoustic guitar or similar acoustic instruments with pickup. For this purpose, the compact amplifier draws on proven Boss technology and a high-quality stereo speaker equipment. Especially for live musicians and singer-songwriters, the compact amp offers numerous connection options, while the optional battery operation guarantees first-class performances even far away from any power outlets.

As a special sonic highlight, the Boss AC-22LX uses sophisticated Air Feel technology. This accurately simulates the sound of classic stereo microphone setups such as e.g. XY, AB or ORTF and implements them via the two integrated 5" dual-cone custom speakers with amazing detail, spaciousness and depth. furthermore, the instrument channel of the AC-22LX offers a 3-band equalizer and a stepless effect control, which adds either reverb or a combined reverb/echo effect to the sound.

For vocals, another complete microphone channel is available. This offers an XLR connector with switchable 48V phantom power for operating condenser microphones and a separate 2-band equalizer for adjusting bass and treble to your own tonal preferences. Of course, there is also an infinitely variable reverb effect in the microphone channel, which gives the vocals additional presence and three-dimensionality and skillfully sets them apart from the sound of the instrument track.

An additional highlight is the so-called Rhythm Box on board of the AC-22LX. This offers five different Percussion sounds from cajon to congas to the full Drum kit and 15 different patterns that can be played for accompaniment. Via the AC-22LX Editor app, the pattern types can furthermore be customized with up to 119 variations. Solo artists are also well served with the Phrase Looper, which is also integrated and controllable via separate footswitches.

For solo jams as well as for recording purposes, the compact Boss AC-22LX is well-equipped. A classic aux input is available for recording play-alongs and Jam tracks, while the combined output for headphones or recording devices is available for both silent practice sessions and first-class recordings. It is also possible to use the optionally available Boss BT-Dual Bluetooth MIDI adapter for wireless transmission. In combination with PCs and Macs, the AC-22LX furthermore can easily be used as its own USB audio interface.
