The Shimano Deore BL-T611 brake lever is designed for use on city and touring bikes and has a lever in classic 3-finger length. It can be used with V-brakes and mechanical disc brakes. Its smooth operation is just as impressive from a technical perspective as its sporty appearance is from a visual point of view. Thanks to I-Spec (B) compatibility, you can combine the Deore brake lever with a matching shifter to save space on the handlebars. BL-T611 is available in black or silver, individually or as a set.

I-Spec enables the connection between the brake lever and shift lever on MTB derailleurs from Shimano. The main advantages are a cleaner look at the cockpit, more space on the handlebars and, of course, weight savings.
Note from the manufacturer: For brake levers with I-Spec B (as of 2014), there is initially no compatibility with shift levers with the old I-Spec mount. However, these can be made compatible with I-Spec brake levers using the I-Spec adapters (SM-SL98-B for XTR, SM-SL78-B for XT and SLX, SM-SL82-B for Saint).
