The Duesenberg Starplayer TV Phonic Black is the perfect semi-hollow electric guitar for all guitarists who are looking for an instrument with a self-confident character. Based on the classic Starplayer semi-acoustic construction with maple body, spruce top and solid center block, the guitar sets visual accents with pearloid binding and the "Phonico" pickups. The Starplayer TV Phonic also offers high-quality hardware from our own production with uncompromising functionality.
In the construction of the Starplayer TV Phonic, Duesenberg relies on classic ingredients for a semi-acoustic electric guitar. Accordingly, the body, made of laminated maple, is finished off by a top made of laminated spruce, with a solid center block preventing feedback. With its "D" profile, the glued maple neck also fits comfortably in the hand, so that between 22 jumbo frets of the rosewood fingerboard every note is easily playable.
The pickups of the Duesenberg Starplayer TC Phonic are hidden under the namesake "Phonico" caps, which bring a breath of fresh air into the traditional pickup production with their unique look. The bridge is fitted with the tried and tested Duesenberg Grand Vintage Humbucker for warm vintage sounds of the highest quality, while the P-90 Dimino on the neck brings every note to life with its lively liveliness. Via the 4-way rotary switch the pickups can be selected individually, together or in combination with the Duesenberg filter circuit.
The Starplayer TV Phonic Black electric guitar is completed by high-quality hardware made in-house, which impress with well-known uncompromising functionality. The Duesenberg Radiator Tremolo serves as the tailpiece on the body, which invites you to play with shimmering vibratos thanks to its buttery-smooth handling and high tuning stability. From here the strings are routed over the Duesenberg Steel Saddle Bridge before they find their hold on the precise Duesenberg Z-Tuners after a scale length of 25.5" (648 mm).
