The Epiphone Slash AFD Les Paul Special-II Outfit (Appetite Amber) is a 6-String Electric Guitar, designed by Slash from Guns N’ Roses, which perfectly replicates the Gibson Les Paul Instrument he used during the recording of the classic “Appetite for Destruction” album. The Epiphone AFD Les Paul Special-II has an Appetite Amber Finish with Zebra Humbuckers.
Slash has been part of the Gibson & Epiphone family for a long time and is considered among the Artists most associated with the Gibson Les Paul. In addition, he has also taken it upon himself to introduce as many people as possible to the world of the Electric Guitar. He works closely with Epiphone to make it possible.
The Body of the Slash AFD Les Paul Special-II is made of okoume and is equipped with an AAA-Figured Maple Veneer Top, which together with the Appetite Amber Finish gives the Instrument an elegant appearance. The okoume neck is bolted to the Body and carries a Rosewood Fingerboard. The D-shaped 1960’s Slim-Taper Neck Profile makes the Guitar very comfortable to play. A highlight of the Slash AFD Les Paul Special-II is the specially designed Epiphone Ceramic Plus Humbuckers, inspired by the Slash Signature Humbucker by Seymour Duncan, but based on Ceramic Magnets.
