The Fame Wizard Thin Splash 8" is a sandblasted high-end cymbal made of B20 bronze, handmade in Turkey. They convince with fast response, multi-layered sound and professional workmanship in all respects. The elaborate Finish is perfected in a well-known Turkish manufactory in many steps. Here, the surface of the cymbal is sandblasted after the fine hammering process, creating the incomparable look and the outstanding sound. The underside of the Fame Wizard cymbals is finely lathed, which creates the popular frequency mix.
The spectacular sound of the Fame Wizard series unfolds its potential with every playing style. A solid response with a decent attack, paired with a dark noise and the extremely dry basic sound characterize the sound of the Fame Wizard series. A surprisingly wide dynamic range and a lively character round off the sound picture harmoniously. The finely lathed bottom adds the necessary harmonics, which perfectly rounds off the broad sound. The Fame Wizard series offers ideal conditions for modern drumming at a high level, where especially sandblasted cymbal play a great role. The fast attack and the modern sound spectrum predestine the Wizard cymbal for all-round use in the studio and on stage, as they are easy to control. In addition, the sand blasted Finish in combination with the red stamp offers a contemporary appearance.
B20 cymbal are the cymbal with the largest bronze content on the market. B20 is a mixture of metals, an alloy consisting of 80% copper and 20% tin. B20 drum cymbals are the supreme discipline of cymbal forging, a large part of the professional cymbals is made of this very alloy. The forging process begins with a heated piece of metal, which is brought into its typical shape by rolling, hammering and rolling again, in addition, the top of the cymbal is usually punched in by machine. Now comes the most important part: in painstaking manual work, the cymbal is hammered, giving it an individual pattern and profile. Each piece is a small unicum!
