The complete set offers an instrument in 4/4 size made of European tonewoods of the best selection, which in combination with the outstandingly playable Massaranduba bow guarantees long-lasting playing pleasure and first-class sounds. The Gewa violin set Maestro is completed by matching rosin and a practical Softcase with bow holders and an additional accessory compartment.
To give the Maestro violin its incomparable sound, the best tonewoods of European origin are used. The top is made of solid spruce, which ensures a particularly resonant sound transmission to the flamed maple top, which is also made of solid flamed maple with intense flame, and thus follows the classical violin-making tradition that has existed since the 16th century. furthermore, an original Aubert 'Mirecourt' maple bridge and a factory stringing with high-quality Larsen II Cannone strings are used.
Of course, a good violin needs a matching good bow. That's why the Gewa violin set Maestro uses a bow classically made of massaranduba, which thanks to its optimized weight point creates ideal conditions for a successful bowing technique. Naturally, the high-quality horsehair cover plays an equally important role in the development of the tone, while additional details such as the Parisian eye embedded in the ebony frog also enhance the bow's appearance.
