The Godin A12 Black High Gloss is the best companion for use on stage, as the semi-acoustic 12-string acoustic guitar ensures comfortable handling thanks to its slim construction. In addition, the instrument features an astonishingly natural sound, which it derives both from its two-chambered maple body and a solid cedar top that enriches the tone with its warm note.
A flat maple neck with a fingerboard made of richlite ensures an accommodating playability, which can be gripped cleanly in all positions due to a nut width of 48 mm. A compensated bridge inlay and a saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ also allow perfect intonation from the entire scale length of 648 mm, so that every single note can be fully expressed. To pass the sound on to the amplifier unaltered, the manufacturer equips the A12 with a high-quality custom Godin Undersaddle Transducer, which can be individually adjusted via a 3-band equalizer. The headstock is equipped with chrome-plated tuners that guarantee easy tuning of the 12 steel strings with their 18:1 ratio for the bass strings and their 26:1 ratio for the treble strings. A sturdy Godin bag is included in the package.
