The Höfner Shorty Bass CT Cadillac Green is the ideal travel companion for all musicians who are often on the road and want a full-sized yet compact instrument. With its 30" scale length (762 mm) and handy body design, the Höfner Shorty Bass is small enough to fit in any luggage compartment, yet offers a grown-up string action for cleanly defined tones with long sustain. While the Höfner Bass humbucker with passive electrics promises a surprisingly full sound, the indestructible hardware equipment guarantees long-lasting playing pleasure.
The practical design of the Shorty Bass CT combines a high travel suitability with the usual playing characteristics of a "real" electric bass. The 30" Shortscale scale length (762 mm) not only contributes significantly to the compact dimensions of the bass guitar, but also promises a well-balanced string tension for a sonorous sound. While the small linden body convinces with a particularly low Gewicht, the bolt-on maple neck lies comfortably in the hand, so that on the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard every Bassline can be implemented with ease.
Due to the Bass humbucker placed directly at the bridge, the Shorty Bass CT elicits full-grown bass sounds from the bass amplifier, which combine a sonorous sound character with well-dosed assertiveness. Here, the classic passive electrics with volume control and treble slider allows the adjustment of the sound. While the 4-saddle bridge on the body promises exact adjustment of intonation and string position thanks to four adjustable tail pieces, the open-gear tuners on the headstock of the Höfner Shorty Bass CT convince with high precision and tuning stability.
