With the Saint PD-M821 clipless pedals from Shimano, the axle has been slightly revised compared to its predecessor, so it now bears a similar construction to newer XT models and proves to be even more stable. It is still a pedal for extreme use in enduro, freeride and downhill sports. This is also ensured by its durable, non-swiveling aluminium body, which protects the SPD click mechanism from impacts. This features robust retaining claws that reliably engage and release. When you're not clipped in, the grippy pins and anti-slip padding on the wide contact surface give your foot support. In addition, the reduced overall height of the flat-profiled pedal counteracts snagging. In combination with Shimano AM Shoes, PD-M821 pedals offer extra stability.
