The ZOOM LiveTrak L6 is a mixing console that is particularly suitable for live and studio recordings. With its 12 input and 4 output channels, the device offers extensive options for simultaneous recording and playback. It supports recording in high-resolution 32-bit float WAV format to ensure full audio quality even during subsequent editing. Thanks to the dual A/D converters in inputs 1 and 2, a wide dynamic range can be covered without the need for manual adjustments to the input level.

In addition to its extensive audio functions, the L6 has integrated effects such as reverb, room, spring reverb, Delay and echo, which can be applied versatilely across the channels. The delay and echo effects can be adjusted to the desired timing thanks to the tap tempo function. External effects can also be integrated via two AUX send channels, making the mixer even more flexible.

Each channel offers individually adjustable equalizer settings for treble, mid-range and bass, with adjustable mid-range frequency. Comprehensive control options such as level, Panning and mute are also available for each channel. A compressor on the master output allows the output level to be increased without clipping.

The LiveTrak L6 supports operation as a USB audio interface, which makes it possible to work directly with a computer, smartphone or tablet. The connection is made via the USB Type-C port, which means that the device can also be supplied with power via the USB bus. The mixing console can also be operated with batteries for mobile applications. The integrated recorder saves multitrack recordings directly to microSD cards, which can be transferred to the computer via the L6 Editor app.

Other practical functions include storable scenes, which make it possible to save various mixer settings and call them up later. Four sound pads can be assigned audio files that have either been recorded via the device or transferred from a computer to the microSD card. These sound pads are ideal for playing jingles, background music or pre-recorded sounds in real-time.

In addition, the device offers MIDI connections that can be used to control external MIDI devices as well as the mixing console itself. The LiveTrak L6 thus combines a wide range of functions and connection options in a compact format and is suitable for both live events and studio work.
