The J & D JB-DLX Bass Black is a luxurious E-Bass with traditional vintage appointments and first-class value for money. While the body in classic offset style and the slim, c-shaped maple neck promises pleasant playing characteristics for the first grooves, Alnico single coils and the proven passive circuit provide a multi-faceted sound spectrum that makes the JB-DLX E-Bass an all-rounder for almost any style of music. Indestructible attachments in the form of a vintage steel bridge and precise Open-Gear tuners complete the equipment of the JB-DLX Bass Black from J & D.
The construction of the JB-DLX E-Bass follows the guidelines of the proven offset design with a classic wood selection and comfortable playing characteristics. The asymmetrically designed alder body takes a comfortable and robust position both on the bass strap and when sitting on the thigh. At the same time, the narrow, bolt-on maple neck, whose C-profile has 37.5 mm nut width, is extremely comfortable in the hand, so that nothing stands in the way of fatigue-free E-Bass playing.
With two Alnico single coil pickups in the middle and bridge positions, the J & D JB-DLX elicits a rich spectrum of sound from the bass amplifier with well-judged warmth, ranging from the full, deep sound of the middle pickup to the mid-range, wiry assertiveness of the bridge pickup. To customize the sound, the bass guitar provides separate volume controls for each pickup and a general treble slider.
Last but not least, J & D equips the JB-DLX Bass Black with indestructible Hardware, which knows how to convince with unlimited reliability. On the body of the bass guitar, a Vintage Steel bridge with four adjustable string riders guarantees exact intonation and comfortably playable string action. At the headstock, furthermore open, tuning-stable vintage-style bass machine heads ensure precise tuning of the electric bass.
