The Audio Kit for the Tascam DR-100/DR-100 MkII offers a comprehensive solution for blogging, interviewing or podcasting in any weather. This kit contains everything needed to protect a portable digital recorder from outdoor wind noise while isolating it from unwanted vibrations, whether from handling or stationary noise.
This kit is aimed at journalists, filmmakers and anyone who wants to make professional audio recordings outdoors with a portable digital recorder. It can be used for soundtracks or outdoor broadcasts, but also for simple audio podcasts or outdoor radio reports.
Thanks to the new 1/4" to 3/8" swivel adapter, the suspension fits on any portable recorder with a 1/4" female thread. The suspension can then be attached to a 3/8" male thread, a microphone stand or a boom pole fixed or to the hot shoe of a camera. The 180° swivel makes it easy to align the recorder so that it points exactly in the direction of the speaker.
