The Shimano XTR Enduro FC-M9125-1 Crank - For 148 mm Over Locknut Dimension, Large Q-factor The FC-M9125-1 Enduro crank from Shimano's XTR series is, in contrast to the FC-M9120, only compatible with frames with 148 mm over locknut dimension. It produces a chainline of 55 mm and has a significantly wider Q-factor of 174 mm. This supports manoeuvrability in aggressive trail riding. The tried-and-tested Hollowtech II construction ensures an ideal ratio of stiffness and weight, especially since everything is done to save as much ballast as possible in the high-end XTR series. For example, the FC-M9125 weighs approx. 570 grams and is thus clearly below the level of comparable XT or SLX cranks. The model is based on a direct-mount system that ensures a quick chainring change. Combine it with a Shimano Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainring with a high-precision manufactured tooth profile (not included) and you get a front drive of highest efficiency and low noise that guarantees good chain retention.
