The Shimano GRX FD-RX820 2x front derailleur for gravel use with 12-speed shifting impresses with its smooth function and simple set-up. Even on rough surfaces you can enjoy natural and smooth gear changes. The innovative toggle link construction gives you more cable routing options and the integrated tensioner makes adjustment easy. In keeping with the intended application, FD-RX820 has generous tyre clearance and is compatible with a chainline of 47 mm, a difference of about +3 mm compared to conventional road bike front derailleurs. The capacity of the front derailleur is 17 teeth, so it is compatible with chainring sizes up to 48 T. The model is designed for braze-on mounting, but can also be retrofitted with a clamp for frames without a socket. It is partly made of steel and partly of plastic, which provides more durability and keeps the weight low.
