The SL-RV200 Twist Shifter by Shimano - 3x with friction shifting
The Shimano SL-RV200 is a Tourney-level 3x twist shifter for left-side mounting. It can be combined with 6- or 7-speed gears and works with friction. That is, this twist shifter does not engage like an index shifter, but it shifts gears continuously. Since it's a Revoshift model, a simple twisting motion is all that's needed to shift gears, while the hand continues to keep a firm grip on the handlebars. Made mainly of plastic, the SL-RV200 has an ergonomic grip design and is suitable for riders with smaller hands. It comes with a steel cable that is easy to install.
