The Shimano STEPS chainring SM-CRE80-12-B for e-mountain bikes with 12-speed shifting and 53 mm chainline is suitable for FC-E8000, FC-E8050, FC-M8050 and other e-bike cranks. It is attached to the axle via a lockring, which is part of the motor unit. Thanks to a special tooth profile called Dynamic Chain Engagement+, you can be sure of chain retention even on rough terrain. At the same time, this technology helps you to pedal smoothly. The chainring has a 4-arm bolt circle diameter of 104 mm and is made of steel. The already-installed spider, which provides the chainline of 53 mm, is made of aluminium.
