The Universal Audio Woodrow '55 Instrument Amplifier expands the popular UAFX Pedals series of the American recording specialists with a practical stereo preamp in pedal format. With the simulation of a Fifties Vintage amp and the matching speakers, it is ideally suited for direct miking on stage and in the recording studio Studio. The powerful UAFX Dual Engine promises particularly detailed and natural sound images, while the UAFX Control App offers extensive setting options for the perfect sound.
The sonic heart of the Woodrow '55 is the authentic simulation of a classic American tweed amp from the mid-fifties, delivering not only glassy clean tones, but also a lively crunch with dynamic response to playing style. For hotter hot rodded sounds, Universal Audio also donates two boost preamps to the Woodrow pedal, inspired by the preamps of legendary echo machines, delivering creamy overdrive tones.
To achieve a particularly natural sound experience with the Woodrow '55, Universal Audio equips the pedal with a versatile speaker simulation, which is sonically oriented to a 1x12 combo cabinet and additionally offers microphone and room modeling. In addition to the authentic simulation of an American 12" speaker proven since the Fifties, two legendary British speakers are available to give the sound the final touch.
Via the USB Type-C jack and built-in Bluetooth module, the Universal Audio Woodrow '55 Instrument Amplifier also makes contact with the UAFX Control App, available for mobile devices running iOS or Android, PC or Mac. In addition to advanced settings and the option to archive presets, the software offers the ability to load Artist presets onto the guitar pedal.
