Even if bleached teeth turn yellow over time due to coloring foods (coffee, wine, sauces) and tobacco, they still remain whiter in the long term than before the PAP whitening procedure. Some heavily stained teeth may need a longer whitening procedure than lightly stained teeth.

Other important components of the gel:
Hydroxyapatite: strengthens and remineralizes tooth enamel
Xylitol: used to prevent tooth decay. The effect is based on its penetration into the bacterial cell, which subsequently degenerates and dies.
