The Yamaha AG03 MK2 is a mixer specifically designed for streaming applications. It features 3 channels, a powerful DSP with equalizers, compressors and effects, as well as a loopback function that allows convenient mixing of live and PC signals into a finished audio stream. In a departure from its predecessor, the MK2 now features a second four-pin mini-jack connector for direct connection of mobile devices.
Since the AG series mixers are equipped with phantom power, all kinds of microphone types can be connected, including those with professional condenser technology. The flexible HI-Z connector is another true all-rounder, optimized for connecting electric guitars, electric basses or synthesizers. The AG03 is also equipped with Yamaha's professional studio-quality "D-PRE" microphone preamplifier. This is capable of preserving the distinctive character of your vocals or instrument playing thanks to the finest technology.
On the computer (Mac/PC/iOS), the AG Controller software allows for more in-depth editing of the 1-touch DSP parameters (COMP, EQ, HPF and Reverb). It has been significantly revised in terms of intuitive usability and offers two interface modes: while "Simple" offers inexperienced users quick and easy access to the fascinating world of sound editing, the "Detail" mode allows professional sound engineers to perform extensive editing.
Thanks to its D-PRE-type hi-end preamp, 192 kHz/24-bit capability, compact design and yet numerous features, the AG mixer is perfect for musicians and music fans who want to compose, record, mix or stream their music with a slim, mobile-ready system without sacrificing sound quality. With the included license for Cubase AI (the music production software for Windows and OSX can be downloaded), nothing stands in the way of recording music in the finest studio sound.
