The Yamaha CC1 is a compact USB controller for anyone who wants to produce, record or stream music, or juggle multiple creative workflows. It is clearly aimed at musicians, producers and content creators who want to work faster and prefer to use physical controls rather than clicking through menus with a mouse.

At the heart of the Yamaha CC1 is the idea of bringing together different tasks on a single, clear interface. A real highlight is the motorised 100 mm fader with touch sensor. Anyone who has ever worked with a professional mixing desk will recognise this feel. The fader follows the movements of your DAW, responds precisely to automation and feels pleasantly controlled. This is complemented by several multifunction controls and the AI Knob, which allows you to control parameters directly under the mouse pointer or within the current project. This noticeably speeds up typical tasks such as adjusting volume, pan or plug-in settings.

The top panel features twelve backlit LCD buttons that show you exactly what’s happening at any given moment. Functions, status indicators and icons are clearly visible, so you never have to guess what a button does. The CC1 is compatible with Elgato Stream Deck software, allowing you to integrate not only music software but also OBS, streaming platforms and everyday computer functions. The Yamaha CC1 integrates particularly well into set-ups using Cubase or Nuendo, but also works with many other DAWs as well as streaming and video software. The connection is via USB-C, and the power supply can be further secured if required. A pedal socket allows you to connect a footswitch or expression pedal, which is particularly useful when recording or performing live.
