Yamaha 's CVP-909 PE is a cutting-edge digital piano that sets the tone with an attractive, modern design and premium sound. The 88-key Grand Touch keyboard features a linear weighted hammer action and counterweights. Thanks to binaural sampling technology, Yamaha has succeeded in reproducing the sound of the imposing Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand pianos in great detail. and to achieve the most authentic sound possible of the models, details such as key-off samples and pedal noises as well as the simulation of string resonances can also be heard when played in the appropriate manner. In total, the digital sound generation has 1605 sounds, 58 drum kits and 480 XG sounds. If required, each of the 16 parts of the multitimbral instrument can be individually tuned to one's own taste with reverb and Chorus effects, a master compressor, equalizer as well as insert and vari effects. Thanks to 256 voiced polyphony, the CVP-909 has enough headroom even when playing fast so that no fading note is swallowed.

The CVP-909's Spuce Cone Spe akers are the result of many years of experience in the field of acoustic pianos and the development of high-quality speakers. By using the same material for the speaker cone as for the soundboard of a concert grand piano, these speakers produce a very natural sound. A completely new technology is the Twistet Flare Port, which guarantees an even clearer Bass sound. Here, a special shape of the sound port ensures an optimized exit and a better distribution of sound waves. Compared to a conventional output, the Twisted Flare Port reduces the noise of air turbulence. The result is clear, detailed sound.
