The Yamaha DTX8K-M Real Wood is an electric drum Set with real birch shells, mesh heads and DTX Pro module. The DTX 8 series reproduces faithful drum sounds with room ambience recorded in world-famous studios. Three Kit Modifier controls, namely AMBIENCE, COMP and EFFECT Kit Modifier controls allow realistic and customization according to your own preferences. 10 Trigger inputs allow you to connect up to 14 pads (with Y-cable). In addition to the existing 712 sounds, up to 1000 of your own samples can be used via a USB stick, and there is also an extensive real-time recording function. A professional effects processor with compressors, 3-band EQ and transient adjustment is available for each of the 14 channels. The functional RS-8 rack ensures perfect handling.

The included Yamaha DTX Pro module provides professional possibilities and offers perfect tuning to the needs of drummers as well as maximum performance possibilities. The module contains 712 sounds in 40 kits, plus the option of freely assigning 200 user kits. Furthermore, own Wav samples can be loaded into the module, 760 seconds (380 sec stereo) are available. Up to 14 different pads (Y-cables) can be connected to the ten separate trigger inputs if required. A recording function and a comprehensive metronome are integrated in the DTX Pro. The innovative Kit Modifier function includes three knobs that allow you to adjust room and effects individually for each channel. Complementing the Aux-In is a Master Output (L/MONO+R), USB to Host/Device, Midi Out and a headphone jack. The full Dot LCD Display ensures intuitive operation.

The DTX-PRO module is compatible with the Rec'n'Share iOS/Android app, which allows you to play along with playalongs and tracks, efficiently helping you practice. The Yamaha E-Drum app makes it easy to change the tempo of the accompaniment track, add a click track or loop individual passages. The Rec'n'Share app is also able to record your own playing as an audio file or in combination with video. Videos can then be edited and cut directly in the app together with the audio mix, and the result can then be published via social media.

The Yamaha DTX8K-M features excellent birch shells built in the Yamaha factories. The hand-lacquered Drum shells are no different in quality or feel from conventional Acoustic drums. Double layered Remo mesh heads with sidetone dampening round out the outstanding feel. The cymbal pads also offer authentic responses and differentiated sounds. hi-hat and ride are equipped with the Yamaha Hit Point Detection System.
