The Shimano CUES RD-U4020 rear derailleur is suitable for city, touring and mountain bikes with 2x9-speed Linkglide drivetrain and, unlike the RD-U3020, is also approved for e-bikes. It features a flat construction, the so-called Shadow Design, which reduces the risk of collision with obstacles. Its smooth, reliable function promotes comfortable everyday biking. The rear derailleur has a total capacity of 41 teeth and is only compatible with 2x gears and 36 teeth on the largest cassette sprocket. It is made of steel and a polyamide-glass fibre composite.
