It has a so-called Shadow Plus chain stabiliser, which prevents the chain from slapping even on rough ground and thus counteracts chain drop. The rear derailleur has a total capacity of 48 teeth and is only compatible with 2x gears and 45 teeth on the largest cassette sprocket.
