Based on a true semi-resonant classic, the J & D SH-1 II Red Semi-Hollow offers a wide range of possible sounds from clear cleans to juicy rock tones. While the body is made according to the traditional recipe from 3-ply maple and poplar laminate, the set mahogany neck in a balanced C-profile provides the right basis for carefree leads on the 22-fret fretboard made of purpleheart. As with the original, two humbuckers provide the multi-faceted sound character of the SH-1 II, which can be combined in a variety of ways thanks to separate volume and tone controls. Other highlights of the J & D SH-1 II Red include a tune-o-matic/stopbar combination and six die-cast tuners.
