With the NTS-3 Kaoss Pad Kit, Korg presents the latest version of the popular touch controller effects unit. In 1999, Korg introduced the first Kaoss Pad, which was to enjoy great popularity from then on. The NTS-3 Kaoss Pad Kit has enough processing power to create four effects simultaneously. A total of 35 effects are available, consisting of 5x filter, 6x modulation, 4x delay, 5x reverb, 5x special, 7x mastering and 3x OSC. Special includes algorithms such as Looper, Grainshifter and Vinyl Break. The OSC algos are familiar from the Kaossilator series. All effects make do with surprisingly few parameters, which are primarily adjusted two-dimensionally with the X/Y touch controller and the FX Depth Slider. Memory locations for effect combinations have also been considered; 100 Factory and 100 User presets have been implemented, making a total of 200 presets. Some programs of the NTS-3 must be oriented to a tempo. This can be done either via the sync input or with the Tap tempo button. The audio inputs and outputs are designed as 3.5mm stereo jacks. If you want to add a few cool effects to your live or DJ setup literally with the swipe of a finger, the NTS-3 Kaoss Pad Kit is the right choice. Before you get started with the "stroking effect", this DIY kit (do it yourself) needs to be assembled. No soldering work is required: the side panels, base and control panel are simply plugged together around the ready-assembled circuit board and screwed together. Assembly instructions and a screwdriver are included with the kit.
